    The active tropical season continues in the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans following the two hurricanes making landfall last week. Crop assessment in ongoing in Mexico and the Southeast U.S. following Hurricanes Newton and Hermine. The greatest concern currently is Tropical Strom Julia off the Georgia coast.

    California and Peru has pretty much wrapped up their avocado season. This leaves a quickly depleting summer crop from Mexico as the only source. Mexico’s new crop will not be ready until early October. September supplies will be very short limited in availability.
